The project

A continuous hymn

A poetic, musical journey from which you return transformed — one that celebrates universality: a message of peace and hope, tinged with jazz and soul, full of humanity, wisdom and faith in love and respect.

Putting cultural diversity centre stage. The project was born in 2015, after the release of a first gospel album in Hebrew, produced and directed in 2009 under the name Hazkenivoices, while Kristel Adams was composing music for a sacred text in Aramaic. The first concert took place in 2016 at Toulon Cathedral, thanks to the kindness and support of Bishop Dominique Rey and Father Alexis Wiehe.

This multilingual tribute to faith has already brought together artists of many origins: harpists Rossitza Milevska (Bulgaria) and Park Stickney (USA), pianist Eddy Malka (of Jewish heritage), percussionist Arnaud Frank (Judeo-Hungarian-Beninese), bassist Fred Fall (Franco-Senegalese), drummer Mike Rajamahendra (Mauritian), choreographer Céline Amiel performing in French Sign Language (of Jewish heritage), cellist Olivier Koundouno (Franco-Guinean) and percussionist Edmundo Carneiro (Brazilian).

Our goal is to deepen this wonderful human experience — meeting and knowing one's neighbour in their identity, their rich difference and their faith — through an international tour, also built in collaboration with artists from the host countries.

L'Écho du Monde (Soulsecho) is much more than a tribute: it is a continuous hymn that helps us live together and, like life itself, never stops evolving! To UNITE in the deepest thoughts of our humanity, in more than 15 languages. When light fails our eyes, we close them to find again the spark that flickers within us and never goes out… but that sometimes needs a second breath to rise again.
